CIFF is held biannually, every March in Guangzhou and every September in Shanghai. Founded in 1998, China International Furniture Fair has been successfully held for 39 sessions. Every year the spring edition in Guangzhou connects over 3900 world-leading brands with more than 170,000 professional attendees from 200 countries and regions, generating immense value for the international furniture industry.

CIFF-CIFM boosted trade in the furniture industry
As Asia’s most comprehensive woodworking machinery and furniture production fair, CIFF-CIFM interzum Guangzhou 2017 took place at China Import & Export Fair Complex on March 28 to 31, 2017. This session increased in scale by using Hall 13.2 that covers 100,000 square meters, displaying mattress components, cutters and tools. CIFM/interzum Guangzhou 2017 became a comprehensive industry event, offering one-stop furniture manufacturing solution. Exhibiting across the entire industry spectrum was displayed, including woodworking machinery, mattress and sewing machinery, cutters & tools, (intelligent) furniture hardware and furniture raw materials.
CIFF set up “Export Zones” to boost trade
As a saying reads, “A good start in spring determines a whole year’s work.” March is the golden time for trading. The 39th edition of China International Furniture Fair, the world’s largest furniture exhibition and the most important business platform in Asia, was successfully held in Guangzhou.

The first phase of the gigantic event was held from 18 to 21 March, showcasing leading brands of home furniture, home decor, home textiles, outdoor furniture the second from 28 to 31 March, dedicated to the office furniture, commercial furniture, hotel furniture and furniture machinery & raw materials.
The 39th CIFF attracted the attention of the global furniture industry. As a dynamic furniture fair in China’s Pearl River Delta and an important platform that links the world furniture sector, CIFF (Guangzhou) set up export zones to specially boost furniture trade.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Industry & Information Technology of China, the main business income of the furniture industry reached RMB 674.23 billion in January-October 2016, up 8% year on year; the total profit reached RMB 40.27 billion, up 10.9% year on year. The furniture export delivery value reached RMB 143.67 billion, up 4.4% year on year. Along with the slow recovery of the international market and the continuous breakthrough of China’s furniture manufacturers in products, China’s furniture export sees new growth.
The 39th CIFF (Guangzhou) added a Dining & Living Room Furniture for Export (Halls 6.1-8.1 in Area A of China Import & Export Fair Complex) and Sofa for Export (Halls 12.1 -13.1 in Area B) in Phase 1 (March 28-31,2017).
The establishment of the export zones helped overseas visitors improve sourcing efficiency and focus on their favorite products. Exhibitors could also reach out to more targeted visitors in the four-day exhibition and enjoy enhanced exhibition outcome. With a total scale of 30,000 square meters, the Dining & Living Room Furniture for Export hosted such world brands such as Landbond, J&C, Huaya, Donghong, Xinsheng, Haoxin, Fuhe and Evs. With a total scale of 20,000 square meters, the Sofa for Export hosted brands such as K-Motion, Zhenbei, Desheng, Henglin, Asiama, Meiyi and MLM..
With a history of 20 years, CIFF (Guangzhou) is well received by furniture industry thanks to its large scale, diversified exhibits, broad participation and high quality. With a scale of 750,000 square meters, CIFF (Guangzhou) took place in two phases on March 18-21 and 28-31, 2017. Phase 1 covered the themes of home furniture, homedecor & hometextile and outdoor furniture, and Phase 2 covered office furniture, commercial furniture, hotel furniture and furniture machinery & raw materials, connecting the upstream and downstream industries.
