On Yilmaz group of companies
Yılmaz group is a family business with three production lines, namely, foam, springs and beds. It started in 1983 as a foam trader. Next Yilmaz spring company was established in 1999. Lately in 2006 Duralli Bed company was founded. It now has a factory of 10 thousand sqm. In the last 2 to 3 years the company has been producing springs for automotive industry.
On products of the company
Our product line in bed sector expanded gradually and we now can produce 17 different spring 4 different foam mattresses. We changed our vision and launched two new lines in 2011, “Trend” and “Life Series”. We have beds of 3D spencer fabrics, at variety of hardness, bag and bonnel spring kinds of mattresses. In this series, also are natural beds for summer and winter, antibacterial and 100 percent of linens.
Life series has olympos bed that is double spring system, both has three different visco pads. Each of the beds are for different comfort levels and have different ergonomic specs.
On adjustable mattresses
We are distributor of motored mattresses in Turkey. They are imported from Germany. This is a new market in Turkey. The products are sold in retail and to hospitals. The people that dependent on bed demand them now.
On exports
40 percent of our volume is exported to 41 countries. We are among the top hundred exporters. We sell our products to buyers in England, Spain, the Balkans, North Africa, and Middle East.
We produce 500 beds daily. In domestic market, products are delivered to Marmara, West Black Sea, and Istanbul. Every retailer can order us for beds. Last year we began to establish corner stores. This year they will be 20. In Bursa we have two showrooms.
Additional comments
We visited fairs in abroad in 2010. We studied the market and listened the buyers. Our selling team was also supportive to develop products.
Last year was successful for us. We tried to improve our business more with new products. This year we aim to increase our exports to 60 percent and have new buyers and launch new products.
