Germans in the north, Belgians and French people prefer extra comfort pocket on pocket mattresses, and Germans in the south and the people in most of the Middle Eastern countries like to have double sided mattresses.

Geography affects the preferences on mattresses
Emre Gokmen, board member of Bambi Yatak, says that every culture has its own preference for mattresses and technologies. He related that people in Azerbaijan, Cyprus and Rumania prefer kapok mattresses made of kapok plant that is obtained by natural processes. He says that Germans in the north, Belgians and French people prefer extra comfort pocket on pocket mattresses, and Germans in the south and the people in most of the Middle Eastern countries like to have double-sided mattresses.
Emre Gokmen said, “Turkey has recently become a community who is more interested in the comfort, technology, health and quality of sleep. Of old the content and the materials used in the production was not so important. However, a new and conscious customer profile is now emerging, because we spend one third of our lives on our own private mattresses. For this reason, when people go out for shopping mattresses they should think about finding the right mattresses for their needs and preferences. Europeans change their mattresses in every five years while it goes up to seven years in Turkey. Actually, the efficient lives of mattresses may change depending on their performances. So, you must be keen on while deciding on the best mattress by keeping this fact in mind.”
