Seher furniture company has been producing healthy beds developed by its R&D team in its factory of 28 thousand sqm. The company also produces bedsprings. Osman Yalcin, general manager, introduced his company and its activities:
On Seher company
I have been serving to the company since its foundation in 1980. We, our founder father Bahri Yalcin and my brother, try to be successful since then. At the beginning we were producing metal materials and foams in our factory of 3,000 sqm. Later on we expanded both product line and the factroy up to 28,000 sqm in 2008, and began to export.
On products
Health of the people is the most important consideration in the beds we produce. We follow recent trends and developments in bed manufacturing field and try to produce the best in our category. Our beds are all orthopedic, anti-bacterial, anti-perspiration and made of knitted fabrics and quality soft foams. Ultra soft, full orthopedic, visco and anti-stress beds are in our product list. Foam is cut through on CNC machinery and bonnel, boxed and herculean spring systems are used in manufacturing. We also make our springs ourselves in our facility. We use certified materials, fabrics and fibers in manufacturing. We are keen on health considerations in choosing the best material for production.
On exports
Our products are exported mainly to Germany, Iraq, Greece, Egypt, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Macedonia, Morocco, Tunis and Algeria. We have offices in Germany and store in Iraq. We want to establish a distribution network in the export countries.
On investments
R&D is our major investment for the future. We are investing to start new operations in export market. Also, we keep our construction works to expand our production capacity. In order to become a player in export markets you have to have a wide range of product line. Safety of workers and the health of the customers are also important factor for our company.
