Fuardan beklentilerinin çok büyük olduğunu fakat hava muhalefeti nedeniyle fuarın olumsuz etkilendiğini ve gereken verimin tam anlamıyla alınamadığını ifade eden Can, ilerleyen günlerde fuarın canlanabileceğini ve beklentilerinin karşılanabileceğini söyledi.
Pandemi nedeniyle iptal olan fuarlara da değinen Can, fuarlarn iptal olmasının gerek ulusal gerek uluslararası anlamda sektörü olumsuz etkilediğini fakat İstanbul Mobilya Fuarının iptal edilmemesinin Türk ihracatçılar için büyük bir fırsat olduğunu dile getirdi.
Fuarın yatak sektörünün ihracat kapasitesine nasıl etki edeceği sorusunu da yanıtlayan Ahmet Can; “Kendi firmam adına konuşmam gerekirse fuarların ihracatımıza etkisi her zaman yüksek ve olumlu olmuştur. 2014’ten beri bu fuara katılıyoruz ve bu fuar sayesinde yurt dışına açıldık, fuarın etkisi yadsınamaz derecede büyük olmuştur. Temennimiz yine aynı şekilde etki etmesi ve hem bizi hem de sektördeki diğer arkadaşlarımızı ihracat konusunda mutlu etmesidir.” ifadelerine yer verdi.
Reni; “We expanded abroad by means of this fair”
Ahmet Can, firm partner of Reni Mobilya, answered the questions of our magazine editors on the 3rd day of Istanbul Furniture Fair.
Can, expressing that their expectations from the fair were very high, but the fair was affected negatively due to the weather opposition and the required efficiency could not be fully achieved, said that the fair could be revived and their expectations could be met in the coming days.
Can, mentioned the canceled fairs due to the pandemic, said that the cancellation of the fairs had a negative influence on the sector both nationally and internationally, but that the Istanbul Furniture Fair was not canceled was a great opportunity for Turkish exporters.
Ahmet Can answering the question of how the fair will affect the export capacity of the mattress sector said “Speaking on behalf of my own company, the effect of fairs on our exports has always been high and positive. We have been participating in this fair since 2014 and thanks to this fair, we have expanded abroad, the effect of the fair has been undeniably great. Our hope is that it will have the same influence and make both us and other friends of us in the sector pleasant about exports.”
