INDEX the 27th International Design Exhibition, which is one of the world’s leading events in the furniture industry, have met sector professionals from all around the world on May 22-25, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Index 2016 hosted more than 35.000 visitors from more than 50 countries last year. This year, 51 companies from Turkey participated in the fair by the national pavilion organization of TG Expo International Fairs Inc. Co.
In addition to INDEX, which is one of the largest and the broadest participation organizations in the world related to interior decoration, furniture, garden furniture, home textiles, lighting and design, Middle East Covering 2017 Fair which is organized by TG Expo will also take place simultaneously. 6 leading companies in the furniture and design sector also have exhibited their latest products in Middle East Covering 2017. The Turkish furniture sector having approximately 2.5 billion dollars export volume to 170 countries is among the most important sectors that have been providing foreign trade surplus since 2003.
In all Arabian and Middle East countries, the prestige of Turkish furniture is very high and it is among the most purchased products. INDEX 2017 Exhibition will provide Turkish companies to introduce their new products and technologies to Middle East market this year like every year. The visitors of fair are predominantly consists of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Yemen, Sudan and North Africa countries. The Index Exhibition, which directs the furniture and design sector, will also be organized in Qatar on November 13-15, 2017. The trends of the furniture sector will be shaped in Qatar with the national organization of the TG Expo.
